CLC Rise – Montclair
Meet the Director of CLC Rise,
Beth Larkin
Hi there! I am Beth Larkin, Director of CLC Rise and Girls Lacrosse at Centercourt Montclair. I have been a lacrosse coach for the last 25 years, starting with the fledgling youth lacrosse programs in Montclair and Glen Ridge two decades ago. I then moved on to the head coaching position at Montclair Kimberley Academy and now I enter my 16th year as the Coach of Glen Ridge High School. In my 16 years at Glen Ridge, our program has elevated to a top state-ranked team, won 2 State Championships, 4 Sectional Championships, 7 Essex County Championships, and multiple Conference Championships.
I have coached All-Americans, Academic All-Americans, All-State, County and Conference Players, and Players of the Year. I was also named the 2010 New Jersey Coach of the Year and have received the Recognition Award from the NJSIAA. Our small school touts a plethora of players to excel as team captains, DIII Attackmen of the Year and garnering Conference and All-American accolades. I have been most proud as a coach for the accomplishments of these fine young athletes throughout their high school and collegiate career and their life after lacrosse.
I am deeply passionate about the growth and development of any player that walks through our doors as a CLC Rise athlete. We believe strongly in mentorship and guiding them to be the best they can be on and off the field. As a Rise athlete, you are guided by our amazing professional and energetic coaches who truly care about you. I am a firm believer in the PROCESS, not the PRODUCT, and with this mindset, our Rise athletes can attain and exceed the goals they set for themselves and their team.
