Centercourt Elite Club

Centercourt Field Hockey Club (CFHC) Elite Teams cater to players who are passionate about the sport and are looking to compete at the national level. These players are dedicated to the sport, train year-round, and participate in top tournaments. Our CFHC staff personally trains and mentors each athlete to help them prepare for and excel in the right college environment. 

CFHC Elite

Fall Season

From September until November

Fall training consists of 8 guaranteed weekly training sessions (possibly 9) leading up to Shooting Star Thanksgiving Tournament, and will take place from September through November at our Mt. Olive location once a week either on Saturdays or Sundays depending on High School and Rec season conflicts.


Trainings will be for players selected to our U12/U14/U16 and U19 teams attending the Thanksgiving travel tournament. U19 committed players wishing to train with the club but who won't be attending the Thanksgiving tournament are also welcome to attend practices and a fall season offering.

CFHC Elite

Winter Indoor Season

From December until February

Indoor season is when the sport moves off of turf fields and onto the hard-court surface. In the winter players selected onto a travel team will train 2 days per week. In addition to training, they are expected to attend all the scheduled tournaments. Players selected for our academy season will train once a week and participate in mid-week scrimmages and play days against other club teams.


Teams will participate in the Centercourt Indoor League if selected or in at least 3 events (home or away) plus any national events/showcases should they qualify for them.


Tryouts: are between September and October traditionally, but dates are subject to change based on High School, Middle School, and REC seasons.

CFHC Elite

Spring Season

From March until May

Centercourt Teams are selected at multiple sites depending on the skill level you are ranked at after try-outs are completed across all locations. Our elite teams are based out of Mt. Olive, while our development teams and pathways are trained out of Morristown, Montclair, Marlboro and Gillette.


In the spring, players are placed on teams based on ability and skill level. Travel teams will train 2 days per week. While our academy teams will train once a week and participate in scrimmage and play days against other clubs and/or facilities academy level teams.


Travel Teams will play in at least 3 events (home or away) plus any national events/showcases should a player be selected for the team and the team qualify for the event.


Tryouts: are between February and March with multiple dates offered across each facility.
