Centercourt Academy League

The philosophy of our Centercourt U10/U12/U14 Academy League is to provide an alternative to play the game within our community and have fun while doing it. We want to provide an environment allowing participants to learn the fundamentals of field hockey and engage in an active lifestyle. The focus of the Centercourt League program is based on the principles of learning, respecting, and having fun while playing the game of hockey. Our goal is to deepen their understanding and passion for the sport.

The Centercourt League features a shorter, condensed season which provides players the opportunity to pursue other sports or activities in the Winter. Teams are formed on the basis of friend requests, geographical area and competitive balance with the goal of maximizing each player's experience and limiting travel.

The season consists of weekly 1.5 hour practice for 8 weeks, 3 scrimmages against other Centercourt location teams at each location, and 1 end-of-season tournament at Centercourt Mt Olive!
