Centercourt Volleyball Junior Development Program
We foster a dynamic and progressive learning atmosphere, grouping athletes by age and rotating them through drills, exercises, and simulated gameplay.
This program is intentionally designed for long-term athlete development - helping players move upward as they grow.
Beyond volleyball skills, we provide an environment for the fully-rounded athlete, integrating strength, movement, and conditioning work - ensuring each player develops holistically on and off the court. Athlete-to-coach ratios are structured to support optimal development: VolleyToss & Mini Movers will train in groups of four athletes per coach, while MicroVolleys and Flight Development League train in groups of six athletes per coach.
Development Path
Level 1: Volley Toss
Ages: 5-6
Volley Toss is the first stage of the Centercourt Volleyball Developmental Flight Path. This program introduces young athletes to volleyball while building coordination, confidence, teamwork, and fundamental athletic movement in a fun and engaging environment.
Level 2: Mini Movers
Ages: 7-8
Mini Movers is the second stage of the Centercourt Volleyball Developmental Flight Path. Athletes begin transitioning from catch-and-throw progressions into true volleyball skills while continuing to build coordination, teamwork, and confidence with the ball.
Level 3: Micro Volleys
Ages: 9-10
Micro Volleys is the third stage of the Centercourt Volleyball Developmental Flight Path. At this level, athletes transition onto a real volleyball court environment while continuing to develop ball control, movement, and gameplay awareness.
Level 4: Flight Development League
Ages: 11-12
The Development Flight League is the fourth stage of the Centercourt Volleyball Developmental Flight Path. At this level, athletes continue developing their skills on a full volleyball court while learning more advanced ball control, movement patterns, and structured gameplay concepts. The program bridges the gap between developmental training and competitive volleyball by combining skill instruction with game-based learning.
