Rachel Steele

DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & OPERATIONS – VOLLEYBALL

Rachel Steele serves as the Director of Business Development & Operations at Centercourt, bringing nearly a decade of experience as an educator, coach, and youth athlete mentor. A former collegiate club volleyball player at the University of South Carolina, Steele competed as a middle blocker at the club’s national tournament while earning dual degrees in Psychology and Anthropology.

Drawing on her background in psychology, Steele emphasizes mental toughness, resilience, and court awareness as important components of player development. She has spent years training youth athletes both on the volleyball court and in the weight room, with a focus on injury prevention, body awareness, and building a strong foundation for long-term athletic success.

Steele’s coaching experience includes founding both boys’ and girls’ high school volleyball programs in Camden, New Jersey. She believes youth sports provide an invaluable opportunity to develop not only athletic ability, but also leadership, teamwork, communication, and mutual respect. Her approach encourages athletes to build confidence, embrace challenges, and develop the resilience needed to succeed both on and off the court.

As Director of Business Development & Operations, Steele combines her passion for volleyball and youth development with strategic leadership, working to expand opportunities and strengthen the overall experience for athletes, families, coaches, and the broader Centercourt volleyball community.
