Mike Adams

DIRECTOR OF VOLLEYBALL

Mike Adams is a nationally respected volleyball coach, program director, and event organizer with nearly three decades of experience developing athletes and building successful volleyball programs. Since the mid-1990s, Mike has coached every level of the game, from youth development to the collegiate ranks, including serving as an assistant coach for the Princeton University Men’s Volleyball program from 2012 to 2017. During his time at Princeton, the program produced multiple All-American athletes and professional players competing both domestically and internationally, solidifying Princeton’s reputation as a competitive force in Division I men’s volleyball.

Mike has been a key leader within the Garden Empire Volleyball Association (GEVA), serving as both a coach and the head of the region’s High Performance Beach Volleyball program for many years, mentoring elite athletes and representing the region at the national level. He is also a USA Volleyball National Delegate, playing an active role in shaping the sport’s growth and development across the country.

In addition to coaching, Mike has hosted numerous indoor and beach USA Volleyball national qualifier events, providing critical competitive opportunities for athletes throughout the region. His dedication to expanding access to the game extends beyond the club scene — he has served on the board and hosted the Special Olympics National Games in New Jersey, reflecting his commitment to using volleyball as a platform for inclusion and community impact.

A proven winner at every level, Mike has led teams to two New Jersey State High School Women’s Finals appearances and was honored as the 2008 New Jersey Coach of the Year.

Mike’s career reflects not only his passion for the game but his unmatched ability to build successful programs, develop athletes for the next level, and create meaningful opportunities for players of all backgrounds.
