VOLLEYBALL COACH
Gabbi Chwae began playing volleyball in middle school, gaining experience as a setter, hitter, and in defensive roles. Her appreciation for the sport deepened when she took on her first coaching job while working as a high school teacher. As a coach, she has led both varsity girls and coed teams to conference championships and brings two seasons of club coaching experience to her resume.
Gabbi spends her days as a high school mathematics teacher, where she enjoys finding new and creative ways to inspire her students. She finds deep fulfillment in coaching as a way to empower young female athletes to grow into leaders, supportive teammates, and skilled players. She places a strong emphasis on mental health and agility, and fosters a team culture rooted in compassion, dedication, and resilience.
In her free time, she is a passionate supporter of the growing professional volleyball leagues in the U.S. and actively competes in adult leagues and tournaments.
