Daniel Crespo brings more than three decades of experience as a player, coach, mentor, and program leader in the sport of volleyball. Since first stepping onto the court in 1992, Crespo has dedicated his career to developing athletes, building competitive programs, and fostering a culture of excellence both on and off the court.

Beginning his coaching journey in 1993 and coaching continuously since 1996, Crespo has accumulated nearly 30 years of experience across multiple levels of the game. His passion for teaching, athlete development, and team success has helped shape the careers of hundreds of athletes throughout his coaching tenure.

Most recently, Crespo served as Head Coach at Saint Elizabeth University, leading both the men’s and women’s volleyball programs. During his tenure, each program earned conference playoff appearances while demonstrating measurable improvements in overall performance. His teams consistently ranked among conference leaders in key offensive and defensive categories, reflecting his commitment to player development and a strategic, data-informed approach to coaching.

Known for his ability to connect with athletes, Crespo combines technical instruction with leadership development, helping players maximize their potential while preparing them for success beyond the court. His coaching philosophy emphasizes accountability, communication, and a growth mindset, encouraging athletes to embrace challenges, build confidence, and pursue continuous improvement.
