Christian Scarpello

CO-DIRECTOR OF BOYS LACROSSE – NORTH & GENERAL MANAGER – MORRISTOWN

My favorite sports event/memory/moment is … Beating Johns Hopkins at home in High Point Solutions Stadium sophomore year in 2016. This was a program-defining win that propelled us into the conversation as legitimate contenders. We went on to win 11 games that year, beating Hopkins once again on their home field in the Big10 semi-finals.

Scarpello attended Rutgers University from 2014-2018, playing in all 60 games during his time on campus as a defensive midfielder. During that time, he amassed 37 points, 121 ground balls, and 42 caused turnovers. Scarpello was selected to play in the USILA/Nike North/South All-Star game during his senior year.

After graduating from Rutgers in 2018, Scarpello took part in the World Lacrosse Championship as a member of Team England. The team competed in the Blue Division and finished 5th in the world. Scarpello led the team in points with 11 (6g,5a) throughout the tournament and contributed on both special teams (man-up, and man-down).

Scarpello was an assistant coach of the Fairleigh Dickinson Men’s Lacrosse team in the 2018-2019 season serving as the defensive coordinator.
