VOLLEYBALL COACH
Keegan O’Connor is a student-athlete completing a dual degree in Business Administration and Sports Managementat Rider University. Originally from Texas, she moved to New Jersey to compete on Rider’s Division I women’s volleyball team. With over 16 years of playing experience, volleyball has played a significant role in shaping her leadership style, competitive mindset, and passion for athlete development.
Keegan has extensive coaching experience at the club level and has helped lead multiple volleyball camps and leagues. She has worked with athletes of all ages and skill levels, with a focus on building strong fundamentals, confidence, and a genuine enjoyment of the game. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes growth both on and off the court, blending skill development with lessons in teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
As a collegiate student-athlete, Keegan understands firsthand what it takes to balance demanding academics with high-level athletics. Her playing background allows her to connect easily with athletes while still encouraging them to challenge themselves in a positive and supportive environment.
During her time at Rider University, Keegan played libero for all four years and served as a team captain, earning the trust and respect of her coaches and teammates through her work ethic and leadership. She also excelled academically, earning All-Academic Team honors and consistently being named to the Dean’s List. Her ability to balance athletics and academics reflects her dedication, discipline, and strong time-management skills.
With a background in both business and sports management, Keegan enjoys creating environments where athletes can grow, compete, and truly enjoy the game. She is excited to be part of opportunities that help young athletes learn and improve while building a positive, supportive culture at Centercourt.
