Fun Facts/Favorite Softball Memory:
Growing up Carli was a two sport athlete, playing Softball and Basketball. She played Basketball at Steinert High School, playing JV her Freshman year and Varsity her Sophmore/Junior seasons. Senior year she decided to put all her focus into her Softball training. During Carli’s Senior Season at CCSU she suffered a season ending injury resulting in surgery. Carli decided to finish her bachelors degree that year at CCSU while entering the Transfer Portal. In June of 2022, Carli received a scholarship from FGCU to further her Softball career and start her Graduate Degree in Digital marketing. Fall of 2022 at FGCU, Carli and her doctors discovered that she needed a second surgery and medically disqualified her from continuing softball which jump started her coaching career. Carli’s favorite Softball memory dates back to High School. Although she would say her favorite memories of softball are winning her State Titles and TOC Title at Steinert High School; Her stand out memory was in 2018 during the State Championship game vs. Indian Hills when she hit a two run double with two outs and a full count to put her team on top and secure the win 2-0. Carli is now coaching at the High School level, running camps, clinics, and private lessons. Her goal is spread her love and knowledge of the game, while shaping confident, respectful young woman.
