Tennis Coach - Chatham

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic coach to join our tennis staff. Someone with background in all aspects of the game -- juniors, performance, and adults. Certifications in 10 & Under and High Performance coaching are highly preferred, but not necessary.

We look for an individual that desires to be a member of a long established tennis club and academy, who is the leader in junior development in the eastern United States. We look for a coach who is a strong on court leader, but is open to improve their teaching skills, committed to continue their own development and open to learn new techniques, and above all a team centered individual!

Summer camp counselors needed. Looking to hire camp counselors, lead counselors and group leader for summer camps at the following locations:

Ninja Coach

CENTERCOURT NINJA COACH

POSITION SUMMARY

Centercourt Sports is seeking a part-time enthusiastic and friendly Ninja coach for our Mt. Olive location. Looking for a passionate sports professional that is interested in learning the techniques to coaching ninja obstacles. Athletic background in soccer, girls lacrosse, boys lacrosse, field hockey or tennis, gymnastics, and martial arts preferred for obstacle demonstrations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coaching one hour long classes
  • Supervising Open Gym times
  • Ability to understand and use POS systems

Tennis Professional - Marlboro

Requirements:
• Ability to submit a short video of conducting a lesson or participate in a tryout session
Responsibilities:
• Pleasant with a professional appearance
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be reliable and committed to at least 48 weeks of service
• Conduct individual and group tennis lessons tailored to players' ages and abilities
• Focus on developing players' technical skills and incorporating physical conditioning
• Help players develop mental resilience, focus, and concentration during matches
• Recommend appropriate tennis equipment and ensure adherence to safety guidelines
• Collaborate with management to organize and run clinics, camps, tournaments, and social events
Qualifications and Skills:
• Minimum playing background
• USPTA/PTR certification
• Knowledge of the latest teaching techniques, training methodologies, and advancements
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced learning environment
 
Compensation:
• Competitive hourly pay structure with a performance bonus
• PTO and health benefits eligibility after 90 days

Front Desk Receptionist - Marlboro

Join Our Team: Front Desk Receptionist - Part-Time (20-25 hours)

Are you a friendly and reliable individual looking for a rewarding opportunity? Centercourt Marlboro is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers have a positive experience from the moment they walk through the door.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dependably open the facility to welcome our valued customers
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Answer phones promptly and provide exceptional customer service
  • Educate customers about our wide range of offerings and services, including tennis lessons, programming, events, and camps
  • Proficiently use our reservation system to register students, book classes, schedule lessons, and process payments
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility as needed
  • Pay attention to detail and ensure customer needs are met promptly
  • Utilize excellent computer skills to efficiently carry out tasks
  • Ability to multitask effectively under pressure
  • Flexible schedule to attend Camp open houses and cover various shifts as needed

Qualifications:

  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Excellent computer skills

  • Tennis background preferred but not mandatory
  • Must live within a 15-mile radius of Marlboro, NJ

Schedule:

  • Friday: 4:30pm - 10:30pm
  • Saturday and Sunday: 11:30am - 10:00pm
  • Additional hours may be required for coverage as needed
