Strength and Conditioning: Junior Athlete Zone
The Junior Athlete Zone offers areas for gymnastics, field turf training, and rock wall climbing. This area will focus on the following areas:
- Strength, Balance and Body Awareness using gymnastics • The program will take athletes through a series of body weight strength motions, basic tumbling, and balance work. Athletes will use equipment like cheese mats, hexagon rollers, and balance beams.
- Agility, Speed and Footwork on field turf • Athletes will learn all the fundamentals of footwork and speed using cone drills, speed ladders, and low hurdles.
- Climbing • Athletes will use our brand new rock wall to learn and gain both upper body strength and proprioception through the total body coordination needed to transverse the wall.
JAZ training is included in all Red Ball Edge and Orange Ball Edge Tennis programs.
