My favorite sports event/moment/memory is..... After college, I coached a varsity girls softball team. In two years, we took the team from a losing record to conference champions. The most rewarding part of that experience came at the closing banquet that second year. One of my players requested to give a speech. She told the audience that she always played sports “just because” but I taught her how to love the sport and challenge herself to find her personal best.

Terry Castro joined the Centercourt Sports team after having worked full time in the camp industry since 2005. She prides herself on creating an exceptional camp experience for her campers and their families. Recently, the camp Castro directed was voted best camp in Morris County for 5 years by the Daily Record.  Terry Castro’s passion for camp stems from the opportunity to create a truly transformative summer for every camper that comes through her program.

Having grown up on the athletic field, Terry Castro played collegiate softball and earned the 2004 NCAA Woman of the Year. Castro has been an active member of the American Camp Association and has spoken at both the ACA Tri-State and National Conferences. Castro also served on the Camp Directors and Owners Association Conference Committee and presented at the CODA National Conference. Terry currently serves as the North Jersey Commissioner of the International Gaga Association (IGGA).
