My favorite sports event/memory/moment is ... Winning the Hunterdon-Warren-Sussex High School Field Hockey tournament last year. Winning the Limelight field hockey tournament championship at Spooky Nook in 2018 with my Cosmic Storm U19 team and winning my first ever DIII conference college field hockey game to start off the 2019 season at Centenary University were also very exciting.

Stephen Speirs earned his Bachelor’s degree in sociology, with a specialization in criminal justice from Centenary University in 2007. He also received a Graduate Studies degree in Leadership in Leadership & Public Administration. Steve has been training athletes of all ages in the sport of field hockey for over twenty years, beginning his career with coaching youth teams and providing camps and clinics for all ages. Steve continued to promote the sport of field hockey through coaching high school field hockey at the varsity level while simultaneously offering high quality and competitive training for all ages at Cosmic Storm Field Hockey LLC.

Coach Speirs is responsible for U12-U19 field hockey training. This including practice, game and showcase tournament scheduling, promotional needs and financial obligations, promoting athletes to college recruiters and more.

Steve is currently the Head Coach for Centenary University’s inaugural DIII Field Hockey team and has been the Owner and Head Coach of Cosmic Storm Field Hockey LCC since 2016.

In the past, he was a coach and player for the Centenary College Club Team (Fall 2011-Spring 2013) and was the Head Varsity Field Hockey Coach at Hackettstown High School (July 2010-January 2019).
