My Favorite sports event/memory/moment is… as a player was ending my field hockey career at Villanova University, qualifying for our conference tournament and playing in the finals versus Providence College. It was a game for the memory books with a double overtime loss for Villanova to Providence. I will always remember how our team battled and pushed ourselves to play our best. The result wasn’t what we hoped, but I couldn’t have been prouder of how myself and my teammates played that game. I still use the memory of that game as the standard I use to judge my effort and my commitment to excellence in my daily life.
