My favorite sports event/memory/moment is ... being one of youngest ever to win the all Nigerian open men's singles west african championship; then becoming the Nigerian #1 player and playing in Davis cup team for nigeria. Also I was recornized by my state governor with the sportsman of the year award. my high school built a standard tennis court on my name for my contribution and development of tennis locally,nationally and internationally.
Nnamdi is a former Nigerian senior and junior #1 tennis player where he represented Nigeria in many junior West African and European ITF tournaments. Nnamdi was an active member of Nigerian Davis cup team for number years and was appointed as a development officer for Nigerian tennis federation until February, 2017 due to his contribution towards working as an assistant to to the non-playing Davis cup Captain. Nnamdi continues to be an active pro and a tennis coach since 1997. Nnamdi has worked with many prominent Nigerian Davis cup players and has had the opportunity to work in an elite tennis clubs around Europe,notably the prestigious David Lloyd and Leisure in Dublin.
Nnamdi is still an active profesional and won back to back senior ITF men's tournaments at the German ITF Senior Open and the ITF Senior British Open in 2016.
Nnamdi is an irish level 1 certified tennis coach ,PTR certified tennis coach and ITF qualified coach,and also is a member of professional tennis coaches association of nigeria (PITCAN).
As a mark of his achievements and contribution to tennis in Nigeria, Nnamdi’s high school built a standard tennis court in his name.
