Mahiyah Sampson

My favorite sports memory/moment/event is.... going into double overtime with a rival team in high school. It was one of my favorite parts of my senior year because we played more together than ever before. 

Mahiyah Sampson is working towards her bachelors degree in Political science with a minor in women’s and gender studies from Kean University where Coach Mahiyah is currently on the KU field hockey team.  Mahiyah was named to the NFHCA DIII National Academic squad for 2020 and a student athlete scholar of distinction. In 2021 Coach Mahiyah and her team went to the NJAC finals and the NCAAs Sweet 16 where they finished as one of the top 15 teams in the country. 

A native of South Brunswick N.J., Sampson was a 3 year varsity letter winner in field hockey, bowling, golf and lacrosse.
