Favorite sports event/memory/moment is....the very surreal moment of putting on my USA uniform, running out on the field, and standing next to my teammates as the national anthem played. 

Marks comes to Centercourt Lawrence as the Director of Field Hockey excited to bring over a decade of playing experience and more than 6 years of coaching age groups U10 – U19. Marks played for 2 years at Old Dominion University winning CAA Champions both years and later transferred to the University at Albany, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. She was a 3 year starter at the University at Albany, who helped lead her team to America East Champs in 2012 and 2014 and to the NCAA Final Four in 2014 for the first time in University at Albany Field Hockey history. After college Marks continued playing for the NYCFH Club in the NEFHA League where she played for both the Men’s and Women’s teams. 

Coach Marks’ playing experience continued throughout her college years, competing in the USA High Performance Tournament and being selected for the U21 team in 2011. In 2018, Marks was selected for the USA Womens Development Team where she competed in tours to Chile and the Netherlands. In 2019 Coach Marks was brought up to the USA Womens National Team where she earned her first cap in the FIH ProLeague against China. Marks playing experience transitions between outdoor and indoor; selected in 2019 for the USA Womens National Indoor Team Coach Marks competed in the ROHRMax Cup with her team placing 3rd.  Coach Marks is currently continuing to train with the USA Women’s National Indoor Team where they are preparing for the Indoor World Cup in February 2021.

While continuing to play, Marks transitioned her passion of playing the game into coaching. Marks began her coaching career in 2016  at The Convent of Sacred Heart Greenwich in Connecticut with their 8th grade team. The next season she became the Varsity Head Coach for New Canaan High School from  2017-2018 where she led her team to the State Final and earned FCIAC Coach of the Year. While at New Canaan Marks was the Director of Youth Programs and Camps working with over 150+ players. In addition to High School, her experience continued throughout the 2016-2018 coaching club at AGH. In 2019 she coached U10 - U19 at WC Eagles Field Hockey Club where during the 2020 indoor season she qualified all of her teams at the 2020 NITS winning Gold in U10 and U16.
