My favorite sports event/memory/moment is Playing in the NCAA Division III field hockey national championship game.

During her time at Montclair State University, Kate Norgard played four years for the field hockey program, helping her team earn a spot in the final four and the national championship game her senior year. In that same year, she earned NFHCA Division III All-America Second Team, the NFHCA South Atlantic All-Region First Team, and First-Team All-NJAC. Additionally, she was selected to play in the Division III Senior All-Star Game and was selected as the 2012 NJAC Attack Player of the Year.

Kate has coached field hockey at Roxbury High School and currently works as an assistant coach at West Morris Central where she helped her team capture the 2019 Morris County championship. She has also coached Revolution field hockey camps and is still involved with numerous field hockey clinics.

Kate Norgard graduated from Montclair State in 2013 where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in English education. She is currently an English teacher at West Morris Central High School and holds a Master’s in Education from Centenary University.
