My favorite sports event/memory/moment is ... During an exciting game against Allentown in my senior year, I saved the ball on the goal-line. That kept the score at 0-0 and we ended up winning the game by score of 1-0!
Coach Jessie started playing field hockey at Pond Road Middle School and in programs run by Centercourt field hockey Director Cris Maloney. In 2012, Coach Jessie's middle school team had an undefeated record of 13-0. In 2013, Coach Jessie started her standout playing career for the Robbinsville High School Ravens on the field hockey and lacrosse teams. She became a certified umpire through USA Field Hockey's "Jump In" program in 2013 while serving as a Junior Coach for the Ocean Atlantic Field Hockey Association -- both programs were under the direction of Coach Cris (see article). In the fall of 2014, Coach Jessie became a varsity field hockey player at Robbinsville and helped the team to a second place finish in the Mercer County Tournament. A defending star, in 2015 she took on the major responsibility as Robbinsville's flyer on penalty corners. Later that school year, she became a varsity lacrosse player. In 2016, her final year of playing for Robbinsville, Coach Jessie was honored with the Raven Award and made the All-CVC Second Team (see article). In preparation for her work at Centercourt, Coach Jessie attended USA Field Hockey's Level I Coaching Course along with high school and college coaches from Connecticut, Colorado, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. With her wealth of relevant recent playing experience, long association learning from and working with Coach Cris, and training from USA Field Hockey, children participating in Centercourt programs can be assured of receiving the most up-to-date and innovative field hockey information available.
