Field Hockey

My favorite sports moment/event/memory is… winning the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) DII field hockey championship my senior year.

Grace Martini was a four-year DII field hockey student-athlete at East Stroudsburg University, with an overall record of 67-18 over the course of her four seasons.  During her four years, she participated in three Final Four tournament appearances traveling to Louisville, Pittsburgh, and Lancaster.  For the Warriors, Martini played forward and midfield and received PSAC Scholar Athlete Awards.  During her years at ESU, she has helped run and coach camps/clinics/tournaments for youth, middle school, and high school aged athletes.  Martini also volunteers for the Special Olympics of PA.

At ESU, Coach Martini is entering her fifth-year majoring in Secondary Special Education with an English content area and minoring in Studio Art.  Upon graduation, she plans on teaching high school special education life skills and coaching!

A native of Monroe Township, NJ, Martini was a four-year varsity letter winner in field hockey, basketball, and softball at Monroe Township High School.  She was a field hockey and softball captain her senior year.  In addition to coaching at Centercourt and working towards her degree, Martini enjoys practicing yoga, being outdoors, and drawing.
