Centercourt Girls Lacrosse Presents: Everything a Student-Athlete Should Know about the Lacrosse Recruiting and Admissions Processes - Monday, June 14th at 7:00pm over Zoom. Join Centercourt Girls Lacrosse and Road To College’s Chuck Hughes (Former Harvard Admissions Officer) for a workshop on the college lacrosse recruiting process from an admissions perspective. Chuck served as an admissions officer at Harvard from 1995-2000 and served as the athletics liaison for field hockey, women’s basketball, men’s tennis and football during his tenure, and he is also the author of What It Really Takes to Get into the Ivy League and Other Highly Selective Colleges. As student-athletes pursue their lacrosse dreams, the college recruiting process continues to become more competitive as players vie to earn a coveted spot on a college roster in one of the fastest growing sports in the country. Additionally, the college admissions process has become even more complicated with record low admissions rates, optional testing policies, and rising costs. How can parents and student-athletes navigate the college recruiting and college admissions process together? This workshop is ideal for freshman, sophomores, and juniors who want to learn more about competitive lacrosse recruiting process and how academics and the admissions process can impact your recruiting chances. Please join us on June 14th from 7-8pm to learn more about what you can do to prepare both for the lacrosse recruiting and for the college admissions processes over the next twelve months.
